Born in Cali, Colombia, Karen Trevisani is a sculptor. After living in Chicago and New York, she has been based in Paris since 2000.

Trained as a graphic designer, she initially worked in the advertising industry before devoting herself exclusively to sculpture.

Passionate about movement in art, she conceives her work as a form of research that reflects her fascination with material, the male–female relationship, the interplay between shadow and light, and the duality of mobile/immobile.

“CINQ ÉLÉMENTS” and “DUE FIGURE MOBILE” illustrate her aesthetic vision: it is up to the viewer to appropriate the artwork, to arrange it according to what they feel, in order to respond to the questions it inspires.
