Born in Cali, Colombia, Karen Trevisani is a sculptor. After living in Chicago and New York, she has been based in Paris since 2000.
Trained as a graphic designer, she initially worked in advertising before devoting herself exclusively to sculpture.
Passionate about movement in art, she sees her work as research that reflects her fascination with matter, the relationship between men and women, the interplay between light and shadow, and the duality of motion and stillness.
